Bramhall Photographic Society is a long established association meeting weekly (Monday evenings, 7:45pm - 10:00pm) September to June for a varied programme of talks, competitions and demonstrations. The annual exhibition is staged each October.
Mentoring in all elements of photography including monochromatic and colour printing, portraiture, audio visual presentations and image manipulation is available via established members.
Bramhall Photographic Society embraces traditional and digital photography, however a dedicated Digital Imaging Group meets bi-monthly (Thursday evenings), exploring digital techniques and procedures. Although it is hoped that photographers attending the digital imaging evenings with join BPS, thus enjoying the full benefit of club membership, this is not a compulsory requirement.
An e-mail group BPS IAGs (Image Appreciation Group) exists to constructively critique members images and a quarterly newsletter is published detailing forthcoming events and member profiles etc.
Bramhall Photographic Society is affiliated to the Lancashire & Cheshire Photographic Union and competes enthusiastically against other societies through inter-club battles.
For further information regarding membership, please complete the contact form on the 'contact' page.
